How We Approach Garment Remodelling

Islamabad Alterations focuses on clothing alterations, remodelling, and upcycling for garments that need a new shape, a better fit, or a fresh purpose. We work with dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and selected vintage pieces, always starting with the condition and construction of the item in hand.

For redesign projects, we first assess the fabric, seam allowances, and any limits the original garment may create. That review helps define what can be changed, what materials may be needed, and whether the concept should be adjusted before work begins.

Every project begins with inspection, fit discussion, and a clear scope before any work is approved.

Our process is built around clear communication. After the assessment, we discuss the concept, confirm the scope, and share a quote before approval. If additional work becomes necessary, it is reviewed before proceeding so the final result stays aligned with the agreed design.

At collection, the garment is checked again for fit or finish, and small final adjustments can be handled carefully when needed. We also provide care and pressing notes so the finished piece is easier to wear and maintain after pickup.
